BLSA Red Bag Donation Food Drive

BLSA is now accepting red bags for the Red Bag Food Drive!!! The items necessary to successfully fill a red bar are:

Two 2 Liters of Pop
2 Boxes of Mac & Cheese
2 Cans of Whole Kernel Corn
2 Cans or 2 Jars or 2 packets of Gravy
2 Boxes of Mashed Potatoes
2 Boxes of Stuffing
2 Cans of Sweet Potatoes
2 Boxes of Corn Bread Mix
2 Cans of Green Beans
2 Cans of Cranberry Sauce

…again, each red bag will be supplemented with a turkey and given to a family in need. Red Bags can be found in the SBA lounge, and there is no limit to how many bags one can fill. The more bags filled, the more families fed!
When turning in your red bags, make sure to write your name, and any relevant class (see below) on the red bag. Also, if you are unable to make it to the store, then you may leave a check for $22 in my mailbox (Gregory Carter 2L)with your name and relevant class(es) and i will fill a red bag for you.

To help encourage your participation, the following Professors have added incentives to their students involvement in the food drive.

Professor Eisele will provide pizza to his Wills class in the event that they provide more Red Bags to the drive than Professor Black’s Corporation class.

Professor Godsey will provide pizza to his Evidence class during their review session if the class donates 10 red bags to the drive, AND he is offereing FREE bengals tickets to the Bengals v. Browns game to the student who contributes the most red bags.

Professor Bryant will provide pizza to his First Year Constitutional Law class if they donate more Red Bags than Professor Lockwoods Constitutional Law class.

Professor Sperino will supplement a Kroger gift card to every Red Bag one of her students donates (up to 40 bags).

Professor Hough will provide light snacks and coffee to her Sales class if they meet a yet to be determined quota of red bags.

The OIP will provide pizza to the OIP Fellows if 90% of the 2007 Fellows donate a red bag by Nov. 2.

Also, the 1L Lawyering Professors will provide breakfast to the Lawyering section that provides the most red bags to the food drive.

LAST YEAR OVER 100 BAGS WERE DONATED TO THE RED BAG FOOD DRIVE, PLEASE TAKE THE TIME AND EFFORT TO HELP A FAMILY IN NEED THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.
