The Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, in conjunction with the Federalists Society, Law Dems, Law Republicans and the American Constitution Society present:
Professor Daniel Tokaji, author of the Equal Vote Blog to speak on Voter ID issues at the College of Law.
November 12 at 4:30 p.m. in Room 118.
Professor Tokaji earned his B.A. at Harvard University and his J.D. at Yale Law School. He is an Associate Professor of Law at the Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law and the Associate Director of Election Law @ Moritz. His areas of expertise include the law of democracy, civil rights, freedom of speech, disability rights, federal courts, and civil procedure. Professor Tokaji is the author of the Equal Vote Blog, which includes analysis of and commentary on election reform and voting rights issues, with special attention to the impact of changes in our election system on the voting rights of people of color, non-English speaking voters, and people with disabilities.

Judge John West is in session…at the law school

Don’t miss Judge John West, Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas, as he conducts three cases here at the law school. The cases are as follows:
- Sentencing on an attempted theft;
- Plea on 10 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor and one count of tampering with evidence;
- Civil Case—motion for summary judgment involving an accident between a police cruiser and another car.
Materials related to the cases are available at the Library Reference Desk.
This is an actual session of the court. Don’t miss this “real life” event!
